Anatoliy Samara Postal address: Makeevka-23, Fontannaya st. 2-93, Ukraine e-mail: zzz@ukr.net |
I was born in Makeevka on 13 February 1982. When I was 6 I went to school. That time new experimental education systems became more and more popular. And I was in a form that was studying by such a system. Instead of 3 years of elementary school we had been studying for 4 years. Since my eighth grade I studied in Makeevka City Lyceum, during eighth and ninth grades - in a chemo-biological form, and during tenth and ninth - in a phys-mathematics form. Since my eighth grade I also took part in a pupil Olympiads (knowledge competitions). Many times I won city Olympiads and almost each time the inter-lyceum ones. I won a third place on a regional Olympiad in informatics on my eighth grade. I also took part in regional Olympiads in Chemistry, won in city Olympiads in informatics, math and chemistry. I won a second prize in a programming competition of the Small Academy of Sciences of Ukraine.
In 1999 I have graduated from Lyceum and entered DSTU, VT specialty. I've chosen this specialty because I like working with a computer both on low (hardware) and high (program) level. In 2000 a group SPN99 (specialty: system programming) was formed by faculties VTI and German Technical. According to my results on a first grade I was chosen to this group. And now in 2001 I've entered the third grade with the SPN99 group.
During my work with a computer I've studied different programming languages: C/C++/Visual C++/WATCOM, assembler (x86), JavaScript, BASIC/VB/VBA, Pascal/Delphi, PERL, and PHP. I've developed a database management system using ADO/DAO in VB. I know SQL. I also have an experience in a large amount of software, such as: Adobe Photoshop, Macromedia Dreamweaver, Macromedia Flash, Ulead GIF Animator, ALDEC Active-HDL, MS Office.
Long enough I take interest in demos and intros. There's no exact definition of what is a demo. Usually this is a program that demonstrates pretty graphical effects with a musical accompaniment. Just like a video clip. And an intro is, as a rule, a size limited demo. People, that create demos, form a demoscene and call themselves sceners. Besides creating of demos they make competitions (compos), publish electronic magazines devoted to demoscene. I am, for example, a translator of HUGI electronic magazine (www.hugi.de), that's published both in English and in Russian. Demosceners like to join into groups. Generally these are the groups of friends that create demos together. I'm currently a member of KCN group. Also demosceners like to take aliases (nicks, handles). My nick is zZz. More detailed information on demoscene you can find in Internet.
