(some words about myself)
I was born in October, 30 1985 in the city of Donetsk. My childhood was full of travellings. At first our family moved to Snezhnoe, some years later to Makeevka.
When I was 6, we moved to Donetsk again.
What can I say about my passions of that time? I liked to shoot at the shooting-range and to ride a bicycle, enjoyed campaigns to the forest or to
the country. I think my childhood was happy.
I've got an elementary education at school 135. That time the most interesting for me was sport: I used to play football and pingpong.
Moreover, I studied at the musical school and attended a swimming-pool. But I'd like to tell you about my main occupation of the school years.
This was chess. Let me say some more about it.
I heard about chess rules when I was 5. In three years I was given to the chess club. I was lucky to study from the best trainer of the Donetsk
region. In a short time I've got the the first place in the region among my age group. Sponsors' support gave me a possibility of taking part in
different Ukrainian and international tournaments. My best results were:
- the 12th place in the World Youth Chess Championship under 16 (Spain, 2001; more than 100 participants);
- the 1st place in Ukrainian Youth Chess Championship under 18 (Dnepropetrovsk, 2002).
And now few words about school life. Our group was always friendly and we had excellent teachers. So i liked to study. My favourite subjects
were Russian, English, mathematics and informatics. I usually became a winner of school olimpiads on these subjects.
I began to think seriously about my future when I was a pupil of the 11th form. Finally I chose calculating technics because it seems to be
modern and perspective. Moreover, I am interested in computers.
In June 2002 I finished school with only excellent marks. Then I entered Donetsk National Technical University. Now I learn there. Students'
life is hard but very interesting. Sometimes I take part in Universities Chess Championships.
As for my speciality (system programming), I suppose that in future situation will be the same: SP will keep a high demand on itself.
Calculating technics penetrates into our life more and more deeply, touching highly wide population layers.
