I was born on March 29, 1981 in Maryinsky district of Donetsk region in the Ukrainian Soviet Socialist Republic (on the moment of writing - the independent state Ukraine).
At the age of 6 years, of my own free will I went to a local comprehensive school. In 1989 I was admitted to pioneers. I have ended 8 classes of a comprehensive school with a certificate of the special sample (i.e. with distinction). My basic school passions: the adventure and science fiction books, homemade things, simple electronics.
In 1995 I entered the Donetsk technical school of industrial automatics on a specialty Electronic Computer Engineering. In 1998 I have got the first serious computer (on the basis of the processor Pentium). It has strongly warmed up my desire to learn better this kind of engineering, more precisely, to write the programs for the computer. Having tried some programming languages, I have settled on the language of Assembler, as on the most simple, logical and powerful language.
Four years later (in 1999) I ended a technical school with "a red diploma" of the younger expert. For continuation of training on a computer specialty, in the same year I decided to enter the Donetsk State Technical University (nowadays Donetsk National Technical University) on faculty of computer sciences, specialty Computer Engineering (on the moment of writing of this text it is called CS - computer systems). But, having noticed in time the advertising of a new specialty SP (system programming), I handed in an application for it. I failed to enter the university this year - my weak knowledge of mathematics let me down.
In September 1999 I have got fixed up in a job in State archive of Donetsk region. In the same time I entered the mathematics courses organized by the Center of preparation of the entrants. The work in archive was rather strange: it was necessary to look through film-materials of telecasts of Donetsk TV of 1960-1980 and to sort them by categories, to bring in a computer database. Together with the chief of a department I also developed other databases for archive.
The mathematics courses helped me to enter in the next 2000 on the chosen specialty (SP) and to become the first year student of DNTU. I had to learn anew and to sit for the examination of culturology, history, philosophy, physics and other humanitarian sciences. Four years have passed imperceptibly and the bachelor's degree is received. During my training in DNTU I have familiarized myself with many computer technologies. Some of them have become "native" (for example, C/C ++, Assembler, Linux).
Now I'm a 5-th year student and the theme of my degree project will probably be "Driver for access to Linux-partitons from OS Windows ".
December, 2004.
